A glamorousvintage brooch by the beloved Italian design house Buccellati, modeled as three naturalistic maple leaves fanning out around a prong-set, high-dome, natural, jadeitecabochon. The maple leaves are highly dimensional, gracefully arched, and are decorated with Buccellati's signature hand-engraving techniques. The jade is that soft, blue-inflected, green color that we rarely see in contemporary jewelry. Buccellati is famous for their intricate and meticulous hand-engraving. This brooch would have originally been worn as a fur clip, but looks lovely on a lapel or heavy scarf. Closure is a two pronged pin, with a single tromboneclasp. MarkedBuccellati.
